Summer Learning Camp (June 5 - July 28, 2017) 12:30 to 5 PM. Stipends available for 4 interns each semester.


Short-term Mission Teams are always welcome. Teams of 9-14 are sought to serve for one week as couselors/teachers for our summer camp program. Contact us at or call 727-822-7178 to find out more about sending a short-term mission team.

One-to-One reading with the kids is an important part of the Micah Center program! 

Mentors work with a child to improve reading proficiency. The most important aspect of mentoring is building a relationship with a child. Encouraging the student to take a challenge and affirming the good reading the student is doing.

Child Protective Training

All Staff and Short-Term Mission Volunteers are required to complete child protective training. All Staff and Short-Term Mission Volunteers over the age of 18 will have a background check. Micah Center is committed to keeping our children safe and providing a secure work environment.

High School Students can apply for the After School Learning Camp 2:30 - 5:30 PM during the school year.


Interested individuals should complete our Staff and Intern Application
